Ready for Winter Bird Watching

I’ve packed up my Clark Map Bag with all the essentials to do a little bird watching. Winter is the best time for birdwatchers to catch a glimpse of Kentucky native and migratory birds … from woodpeckers, geese, ducks, loons, hawks and other species become more visible after trees lose their leaves.

The Louisville Nature Center is hosting a Birding for Beginners Event, January 21 from 10:00 - 11:30 AM for ages 9 and up.
